This is a common problem of our present community.Parents find that their wards are not doing well ,whatever their ward do,they want more out of them.While on the another side wards find their parents non intrested in their personal intrests and trying to impose their own intrests over them.If you are going through all this ,stay patient ,we have a solution for you.
PRESENT SCENARIO
Over expectation of parents ------
Non-understanding of each others needs -----
Parents are actually defensive about their ward's future and thus ,they just want them to leave everything apart and focus on their studies-----
Children have their own life .They want to lead a carefree and self made life-----(you may be one of them)
But this demands patience ,time and perseverance ,at the same time,parents want quick success for their children ,thus time lag annoys parents -----
Then starts the retreat of happiness form lives of both.
THE ROOT CAUSE -GENERATION GAP
This is the major driving force behind decreasing stabilities of families.Parent have lived their life in a totally different situation,but the problem is,they think situation is still the same which is not at all true.
SOLUTION
TIMES CHANGE- And the best way to be happy is to change with time.
ON PARENTS SIDE..
Should allow your wards to lead their life on their own .
No need to force anyone .
Forcing even annoys animals.
Just see the whole day of your ward ,and try to understand his patterns ,which games he like,which movies he watch,which type of friends he has.This information can tell a lot about a person.-----
Try not to tell him your intrests, but try to know his intrests and help him .
Try to turn his intrests into his passion,so that whatever he does is out of his intrests only .He will then give 100% efforts and this may change everything.-----
Help him emotionally when he fails.
This is how you become his friend.
ON WARD'S SIDE
UNDERSTAND YOUR PARENTS--They are never wrong .They may be partially wrong sometimes but they want you to succeed and that's all.
Just explain them what are your dreams and what you want to achieve and how you are going to do it.
STOP JUDGING YOUR PARENTS
You may say that your parents are not focussing much on you or that they are not doing what they should do ,so ,my friend ,do your work ,let them do theirs.-----
Just find your intrests (you won't have to dig deep to find them)and let yourself flow into it.DO WHATEVER YOU CAN.....YES ...EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO ACHIEVE IT .
